I lost my best friend in the summer of 2021. I knew it was coming. I didn’t know how soon, but I knew.

Sitting in the vet’s office as they threw the word “CANCER” around, I was paralyzed. I wasn’t ready to lose my girl… and all I could think about was how I didn’t have a single photo of the two of us together.

13 years, and not one good photo.

We left the office that day, and I quickly changed that by asking a friend and fellow photographer to come and snap some photos of us on my bed together.

I put my girl to sleep two weeks later.

Those photos will forever be the best thing I’ve ever done for myself.

Every time I look at them, I remember how she felt. I remember how my heart felt. I will cherish them forever.

I want to do the same for others by offering senior pet sessions in the comfort of their own home. A stress free experience that doesn’t require much prepping. All we need is some sunlight and snuggles.
